16th NATIONAL CORRECTIONAL CONSCIOUSNESS WEEK CELEBRATION
The City Warden J/SINSP Roque Constantino A Sison III, formally welcomed the guests during the culminating activity of the 16th National Correctional Consciousness Week (NACOCO) Celebration. In his welcome address, he explained the theme of the celebration which is Towards Justice that Moves Beyond Punishment.
The Honorable City Mayor Michael V. FariƱas was the Guest of Honor and Speaker during the culminating activity of the 16th National Correctional Consciousness Week (NACOCO) Celebration.
One of the highlights of the 16th National Correctional Consciousness Week celebration is a pageant dubbed as Ms BJMP Laoag Bebot 2010. The pageant was participated by 11 inmates who bravely dressed up as ladies. The candidates are seen here in their Talent presentation. Candidate No. 1 was hailed as Best in Talent and eventually hailed also as Ms BJMP Laoag Bebot 2010.
2010 NATIONAL ELECTION
The inmates of the Laoag City Jail participated in the first ever automated national elections in the country. This is very significant for them because they are not only participating in this new method of electing the new leaders of the country but because they are still entitle to their rights of suffrage as a citizen of this country. even though they are detained. The event was successfully conducted without any untoward incidents and this was achieved because of the proper coordination of the warden and the personnel and also with the help of the COMELEC staff in the voting precincts.
The Warden is shown here giving final briefing and instructions to BJMP personnel regarding the procedures in escorting the inmates in going to their respective polling places. He also reiterated the guidelines set by the Commission on Elections which is in charge during election period.
These are the first batch of inmates who will be participating in the first ever automated National Election. They are shown here boarding the prisoner’s van escorted by respective jail guards.

The inmates are shown here queuing for their turn to go inside the voting precinct where they are registered.
The inmates are shown here verifying their names. While the others are still verifying their names, some of the inmates are already shown here casting their votes.
Upon verifying if their names are on the official list of registered voters in the precinct, the inmates are required to affix their signatures after their respective names and also their thumb mark.
An inmate is shown here inserting the official ballot in the PCOS machine assisted by one of the BEIs. In the following video, the inmate is waiting if PCOS successfully scanned the ballot.

DAGUPAN CITY JAIL
JSINSP Roque Constantino Aldana Sison III played a very significant role in making Dagupan City Jail as the Best City Jail for four consecutive years from 2002 until 2005, winning in the regional and national category, for numerous projects he had undertaken during his stint as warden. As a result of this, he was also regarded as the City Jail Warden respectively.
A quick tour of the Dagupan City Jail. Most of the infrastructure developments are undertaken by JSINSP Roque Constantino A Sison III.
Dagupan City Jail was featured in ABS-CBN TV Patrol for taking advantage of technology by creating their own blogspot and participating in podcasting featuring the activities of the inmates inside the jail. It is interesting to note that this is the first ever among city jails in the country.
The inmates of the Dagupan City Jail are shown here doing paper crafts as part of their Livelihood Project.
Dagupan City Jail Inmates Choir and Dance Troupe are shown here performing during the “Beyond The Prison Walls” project of the Dagupan Bangus Jaycees. It is interesting to note that the song performed by the choir during this event is a composition by one of the inmates dedicating it to their warden. This was a show of gratitude to the warden for his efforts and concern in uplifting the welfare and development of the city jail and the inmates.

SAN CARLOS CITY JAIL
J/SINSP Roque Constantino A Sison III was awarded as City Jail Warden of the Year in the Regional and National Level as well as San Carlos City Jail as Best City Jail of the Year in 2007. Vice Mayor Joseres Rosuello represented the City Mayor in accepting the award in the Regional Level.
